Founder & Lead Strategist
I’m Dan Hawkins, founder of Hawk Marketing. For over 17 years I’ve worked in search from both sides of the table — first running my own London SEO agency, then spending more than a decade leading organic acquisition for a startup that grew into an international iGaming brand, where I built the teams, owned the budgets and set the search strategy across five markets.
My approach has always been about building real relevance and authority rather than gaming the algorithm. Before E-E-A-T was a pillar of SEO, I was earning digital PR placements in national and regional press — the Sun, the Mirror and Metro — alongside industry titles like Gambling Insider and iGaming News, coverage that was instrumental to the brand’s growth. Search engines and AI models are now far too smart to reward the recycled paid link lists most agencies still sell, so I focus only on the high-leverage work that moves the needle for your business.
When you hire Hawk, you work directly with me — a senior strategist who has led teams and owned budgets, not a junior handed your account. The high-value work stays senior.
I don’t play catch-up with algorithms. I build strategies designed for the “Agentic Web” — ensuring your brand is ready for the future of search.
No vanity metrics. I report on the KPIs that impact your bottom line: organic traffic growth, entity authority, and citation volume.
